NFTS Gala 2022

On Tuesday, June 21st, Searchlight had the privilege of attending and sponsoring the 51st annual NFTS Gala. The team and our wonderful clients were dressed to the nines to help support the excellent work the NFTS does year on year.

The Gala is the National Film & Television schools’ principal fundraising event for scholarships, which provides crucial financial support for future film, TV and game makers.

Searchlight had the delight of inviting just a few of our clients, from Digital Orchard, Fremantle, DRPG and Entertainment One. Helping to raise over £300,000 for the school over the course of the evening.

The evening was fantastic, starting with a drinks reception sponsored by Searchlight. Here we were able to enjoy the stellar views and glorious weather.

We were then hosted by the fantastic Rory Bremner, who dazzled the audience with his excellent impressions and quick wit.

As the cost of living continues to soar, the demand for NFTS scholarships and funding assistance has increased exponentially, while the pressure on the School’s finances has never been greater. Funds raised at the annual NFTS Gala changes the lives of many aspiring film, television and games makers by providing opportunities for new and diverse talent.

Searchlight has had the pleasure of working with the NFTS for many years now, running courses for students, focusing on – CV masterclasses, finding your first job and setting them up for life in the industry. We will continue to support this amazing institution as best we can and look forward to the festivities next year.
